Mapping

The RDKB is happy to announce the launch of our New Interactive Mapping Service. Some of the new features include:

  • An updated interface where users can explore data from 75+ layers such as parcel information, RDKB Bylaw layers, and reference layers from the province.
  • Updates made to RDKB GIS data now appear on the map in near real time.
  • The RDKB is now using the Parcel Map BC parcel fabric: The current, complete and trusted mapped representation of titled and Crown land parcels across British Columbia. Parcel data is updated weekly.

Note: The portal will be unavailable Tuesday mornings from 2:00am to approximately 3:00am Pacific Time for regular maintenance.

The Planning Department's Geographic Information System (GIS) service prepares and maintains a wide variety of maps and other graphical material for the Regional District in addition to managing digital databases and the Interactive Webmap.

We offer support to the public for navigating the interactive webmap, addressing, and other mapping inquiries.

We also have a wide variety of other general and special purpose maps along with survey plans that may not be in a reproducible form. However, these items may be viewed upon request.

You can contact the RDKB’s GIS team at gis@rdkb.com

You can also access the bylaws and maps of the RDKB's Official Community Plans and Zoning information (PDF) by clicking here. If you have any questions regarding bylaws, please contact the planning department.
