How to Pay

The following payment options are available for paying your accounts receivable (AR) invoice or utility bill:

1. Online Banking

• Log-in to your financial institution’s online banking system
• Click on “Add a Payee” to add the RDKB
• Search for “Kootenay Boundary”
• From Search Results select one of the following:
  • For AR Invoice - “Kootenay Boundary, Reg Dist – Accts Recv”
  • For Utility Bills - “Kootenay Boundary, Reg Dist – Utilities”
• You will then be prompted for your account code
  • For AR Invoices – Found on top right of invoice (Three (3) letters followed by three (3) numbers, e.g. AAA000)
  • For Utility Bills – Found on top left of utility bill (13 numbers, no spaces or “-“)
• If you are unable to find our accounts above, please contact the local branch of your financial intuition for assistance.

2. By Mail

• Please send a cheque payable to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary along with remittance stub to:

3. By 24 Hour Drop Box

• Please drop your cheque payable to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary and remittance stub in our mailboxes located outside the main entrances of either our Trail or Grand Forks offices.

• Make a payment by cash, debit, cheque, or credit card in person at:
