NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) is currently seeking applications for the benefitted permanent, full time position of Network Infrastructure Analyst, located in Trail, BC.

Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the Network Infrastructure Analyst manages network infrastructure including servers, hypervisor hosts, applications, switching, security, IP telephony and backups. As part of a small IT team, the ideal candidate will be an IT generalist with a range of skills across network and application management. This position will be responsible for day to day security and application monitoring, data centre deployments, troubleshooting and project work, with occasional HelpDesk support. This position will be based out of the Trail office but will work across other RDKB sites and may include remote work opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2 year technical diploma or Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems + 4 years industry experience managing computer networks
  • knowledge of networking architectures, protocols and languages
  • experience using Windows networking administration tools
  • experience with hyperconverged storage technologies an asset

PARKS AND RECREATION ATTENDANT 1 SEASONAL
GRAND FORKS RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Qualified applicants are invited to apply for the seasonal position as Parks and Recreation
Attendant 1 within the Christina Lake Parks & Recreation Service at Christina Lake, BC.

DUTIES:

SALARY:
This seasonal position offers a rate of pay of $25.36 per hour (January 2021).

HOURS OF WORK:
7:00 am – 1:00 pm, Tuesday – Friday

LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR LEVEL I - CASUAL
GRAND FORKS RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Qualified applicants are invited to apply for the casual position of Lifeguard Instructor Level I within the Grand Forks Recreation Department for work at the Grand Forks & District Aquatic Centre.

DUTIES:

SALARY:
This casual position offers a rate of pay of $23.82 per hour (January 2021).

HOURS OF WORK:
Casual – Less than 20 hours per week on average – CUPE Local 2254.
Daily schedule based on aquatic programming schedule, and staff certification.
