RDKB – Resident Directed Grants (ReDi)
Opens - January 5, 2026
Resident Directed Grants (ReDi Grants) support projects that benefit the broad community and public good by providing flexible support for community projects that incorporate resident input in funding decisions.
ReDi Grants is a program of Columbia Basin Trust and is delivered in partnership with local governments and First Nations. Program funds are distributed annually so delivery partners can select and fund projects in accordance with overall guidelines that are established by the Trust.
Proposals are accepted annually and must be submitted through the online application system. The 2026 intake portal Regional District of Kootenay Boundary ReDi Program (ourtrust.org) will open on January 5, 2026 and close February 17, 2025 at 4:00pm (PST).
The 2026 Application and Workbook will be uploaded once the intake opens.
In preparing your application, we recommend reviewing and familiarizing yourself with the program guide, the 2026 Pre-Application Workbook and Application Guide are available on the CBT portal page. The 2026 format remains the same, so this will help you understand the requirements and ensure you’re ready to input and submit your application. Simply login using your previous account profile information or if this is your first time using the portal create an account.
We also recommend reviewing the 2025 Approved Projects to see what types of projects have been supported in the past.
