Electoral Area B/Lower Columbia-Old Glory Recreation Reimbursement

Area B residents are eligible for a reimbursement for using the City of Trail's recreation facilities and programs including the Trail & District Public Library.

To sign up for the reimbursement program Area B Residents need to fill out and submit a Reimbursement Application Form.  For anyone not able to access the form online, it is also available by contacting our Trail office at 843 Rossland Avenue, Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm.

The  program covers use of these City of Trail facilities and activities:

  • Trail & District Public Library
  • Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre including the gym, swim lessons, personal training, fitness programs
  • Willi Kraus Field House and assorted sporting activities run out of the field house (pickle ball, indoor golf, badminton, softball) and sport passes (a sport pass is valid for a season of the organized sport activity for which the sport pass is purchased for swimming, hockey, baseball, softball, slo-pitch) 

The program does not cover:

  • Birthday parties
  • Room and equipment rentals
  • Gift certificates
  • Residency cards

Residents who use Trail facilities and programs are required to pay in full at the Trail recreation facility they use. Residents will need to collect a receipt from the recreation program or facility they use. A reimbursement of the differential cost of the Trail Recreation facility/program will be made via cheque and from proof of receipt and/or registration of a Trail recreation program. Reimbursements will be processed from the RDKB Trail office and mailed to Area B residents.
